This dataset is part of the MapSPAM series on spatial production. It is produced as interim result using GAEZ v3.0 data as input.

"We estimate the crop suitable area (SuitArea) from GAEZv3.0 to consider the spatially varied potential suitability for different crops in terms of different thermal, moisture, and soil requirements as an allocating parameter."
